A salvage officer seems to be trying to keep out of the view of two men in long SAG coats. He anxiously glances in your direction while ducking behind an external engine thruster of an impounded sleek merchant class ship.

Introduction
The salvage officer offers a pleading glance before a shake of his head. He appears to beckon you near, but cautiously.
You have accepted the "Twisting Nether" mission.
- Walkaway. Leave the Port and choose to not get involved.
- Approach the nervous salvage officer.
- Take a few steps back and watch from a safe distance.
Walk away:
A nervous man and a pair of SAG agents around an impounded ship seems a little too serious a situation to get involved with. You leave the scene.

Watch from a distance:
The pair of SAG agents turn their attention to the salvage officer. One speaks while the other examines the soft blue glow of his CORETECHS against his eyes.
The SAG agent says: Nay, Slyniti? Found nothing?
The salvage officer, Slyniti, winces at the words as if they arrived unexpectedly. He touches a tender hand to the hull of the impounded ship, as if comforting an old friend.
Slyniti says: It's like I told you, Agent Josué … and Agent Lucas there … and Agent Baptiste, wherever in the stars he's run off to… I have found nothing unusual.
- Watch as the talkative SAG agent steps closer to Slyniti.
SAG agent Josué snarls as he draws close to Slyniti. Agent Lucas doesn't seem to care for the aggression, but he does little to stop it.
SAG Agent Josué says See here, little scaver: I am not like Lucas. I am not like Baptiste. I am not patient. I am not calm. I don't care how long you spent on this ship… for how many Independent cycles you lived. You are an employed official informant to the Gaule cause now and I expect you to adhere to your duty.
Agent Josué raises a gloved hand, finger pointing directly at the impounded ship.
SAG Agent Josué says: Disposable Hero, indeed… Find the answers to my questions or a brig awaits your darling boy captain.
With a single shake of his head, Agent Josué steps back and nods to the disapproving Agent Lucas. He mutters as they depart.
Agent Josué says: The empty expanse of space awaits the rest.
- Wait until the two SAG agents leave the port to approach Slyniti.
- Approach Slyniti before the SAG agents exit the port.
Approach:
You choose to approach Slyniti as the two SAG agents are departing.
- Ask the salvage officer what is going on.
Me: I got the impression you wanted to speak with me?
The salvage officer wipes away sweat while glancing past you with a nervous anger.
Slyniti says: Something has happened to Disposable Hero, this ship…
He nods toward the sleep merchant vessel as he continues.
Slyniti says: That was my home for more cycles that it was not. I need something from you… but I have to be sure of something first. For now, take this…
